Australian Open FINAL RESULTS
And the 2018 Australian Open title goes to Danny Kapovic, thanks to Caroline Wozniacki's thrilling three-set victory over Simona Halep in the women's final. The parallels between Danny and Wozniacki are intriguing, to say the least. Both win the Australian Open, both win their first major title, and both are now currently number #1 in the world in their respective rankings. Congrats, Danny! You're now in the record books (see FTL Records). And because this is our first event of the year, the standings you see below are also the current overall standings. But we've only just begun! Next up is the Indian Wells/Miami double taking place in early March. During the interim, we'll hear from our latest champion and check in with the rest of the league with some more Hawkeye Profiles. But for now, FTLers, it's time for me to get some sleep!
