Meanwhile, a scandal has erupted back over at World Cup Challenge headquarters. As it turns out, the official World Cup Nesting Doll is "no longer available" at the FIFA website. What?! That's the whole reason why I did this thing! This would never happen at Midwest Sports. And, if it did, Chris would make an emergency helicopter trip to the prize winner's house to issue a personal apology.
Well, Anne and Joe were gracious enough to pick out an alternate prize, being the awesome champions that they are (hopefully, we'll get a photo of them and their prize soon). But FTL is immediately and permanently severing all ties with those FIFA clowns.
Okay, back to Wimbledon! The action continues tomorrow with the men's semifinals.
