US Open Quarterfinals Update
The fourth round matches wrapped up tonight, which means we're into the quarterfinals. And now that the dust is beginning to settle on a wild and woolly first half of the tournament, we see that Roberta has sprung forward to take the lead. She has doubled everyone's points, except for Daniel, and looks like the favorite to capture this year's Gumball Machine. Roberta has six of her eight players remaining, including two Lone Wolfers who broke through (Carreno Busta and Vandeweghe), so she's not done by any stretch. Lots of tennis left to played down in the business end of the tournament. But Roberta is off to a great start!
