Post-Season Interview with Roberta and Todd

Meanwhile, over in Nashville, Roberta and Todd are doing a little celebrating of their own. Earlier today, I caught up with both of them to get their thoughts on FTL 2015 thus far, as well as the upcoming clay court season.

Q: Roberta, how does it feel to have won Season Red?
Roberta: I can’t believe I’ve hung on to win. What a great first trip with Fantasy Tennis! In other words…Woohoo - I’m going to Disneyland! My soon-to-arrive cup will runneth over (with an appropriate alcoholic beverage, of course).

Q: Todd, you won Indian Wells. How much confidence does this give you moving forward?

Todd: My Indian Wells victory gave me lots of confidence going into Miami, which netted me a solid middle of the pack result there. So now my confidence is back in check as we move onto clay.

Q: Finally, a question for you both. What are some of the big story lines for us to keep an eye on as we head into clay court season?

Roberta: Can’t wait for those slides, the painful splits, and burnt red dusting on interesting bodily locations. Looking for those clay court specialists to really put the hurt on the others. I’ve got some thinking to do for my next picks!

Todd: As we slow things down on the clay, it's always worth watching out for those Spaniards who get forgotten about on other surfaces. Look for someone unexpected to show up strong and disrupt the young guns looking to displace the big four narrative--could be a good time to make a lobo solitario pick.
